About Kuefu island
Kuefu Island is the smallest isolated island in Chibishi Atoll (Chibishi Islands), located about 12km west of Naha City on Okinawa's main island, about a 20-minute boat ride away.
It features a 600-meter coastline of pure white sand made of coral fragments, whose shape changes with the tides and waves. The island is untouched by nature, with no artificial structures whatsoever.
Surrounded on all sides by the "Kerama Blue" ocean, coveted by divers worldwide, it boasts exceptional clarity. It is home to a wide variety of coral reefs, tropical fish and sea turtles.

You will see a lot of coral reefs and colorful fish welcoming you in the moment when you get in the sea. There are some fish from the movie "Finding Nemo." Might see sea turtle if you are lucky!?

Discovery Scuba Diving
Children from 10 years old can participate! All equipment is included, and wetsuits are available for free rental! You don't have to bring any equipment , and a guide who knows Kuefu Island inside and out will guide you into the underwater world.

Refresh scuba diving

This is right for you if you have got your C card but you are not sure if you can go to deep points or dive with people who has got more experience. About tours
Our tours are conducted in accordance with the standards of the PADI diving instruction organization. There is no dock on Kuefu Island, so you have to swim to the island to land. You can also join a tour just to board the ship. Please contact us. Please be aware that in the event of an emergency, we may not be able to return to port immediately. We accept voluntary environmental conservation activity support fees. As part of our environmental conservation activities for the diverse species that inhabit Kuefu Island, we carry out our own activities, such as exterminating crown-of-thorns starfish and removing driftwood. The island is also a breeding ground for seabirds called terns, and we actively work to create an environment where they can breed safely during the breeding season. We would appreciate your support so that we can maintain the beauty of Kuefu Island, where untouched nature remains. Please pay in cash on the day. (Change will not be provided.) -
Your medical condition
After your reservation is confirmed, we will send you a medical check sheet. Please fill it out and submit it before the start of the tour. If you have a chronic illness, you may need a doctor's certificate (we recommend consulting a doctor who is knowledgeable about diving). There might be some cases that we can't give you a tour even with a doctors note. Those with asthma, epilepsy, otitis media, sinusitis, heart disease, or who are pregnant cannot participate in the tour, even if they have a doctor's certificate. People who are intoxicated or hangover are not permitted to go on a tour. -
Regarding the day of the tour
Please be punctual. If you are late for the meeting time, it will be treated as a cancellation on the day and a 100% cancellation fee will be charged. Parking, showers, and lockers at Miegusuku Port require a fee, so please prepare some coins beforehand. (New coins are not accepted.)
Please refrain from bringing any clothes or valuables onto the boat. We are not responsible for any lost or stolen items. Please bring your own drinks. To help protect the environment, please use eco-friendly sunscreen. We recommend using a "coral-friendly sunscreen." Kuefu Island is made up of fragments of coral reef. Landing barefoot carries the risk of injury. Please be sure to bring beach sandals or marine shoes. No where on the boat is 100% dry, so please wear your swimwear and only bring a bag that you don't mind getting wet. Those who participate in discovery diving will not be able to board a plane on the day of the trip. -
Cancellation policies
If the event cannot be held due to bad weather, we will contact you by 6:00 PM the day before. In that case, there will be a 100% refund. If you are unable to visit due to a flight cancellation, there will be a 100% refund. However, if you cancel your reservation before the official announcement by the airline, a cancellation fee will be charged. The following cancellation charges will be incurred if the tour is cancelled for customer reasons. Cancellation fees will not be incurred if the cancellation is due to bad weather or flight cancellation, but if the cancellation is due to customer's own judgment, the above cancellation policy will apply.
